This is my side of an art trade with :iconstitchfan:

These are his OC creatures called Hemelvos ([link]). He let me pick out the color...and I had to choose blue. =D Psh, they're mountian creatures! Mountian-snow-blue I mean c'mon! Who wouldn't wanna be in the mountians and catch the tip of one of these running off and yell, "Hey look there's a Heme-...however you say it!"

Haha, of course no offense to you at all Mikey. I've just been trying to pronounce their names the whole time I'm working on this thing. XD

So Dad, Mom, baby! Woo hoo! I want that baby one. lol. You can probably tell this project took me a while *coughfivehourscough*, but it was definitely a good challenge. :phew: Played with brushes, helped my animal practice (though...I still prefer to draw people. lol), and I get to add a new colored piece to my gallery! Yay! =3

Great color as well as line work. I love the little baby one :cuddle:

After I told you to pick their color, I noticed that in my reff sheet it says they can change their fur color :XD:
But from now on, when ever they're seen in the snow, I'll use your blue color pattern. It's so cool :w00t:

The word "Hemelvos" (which I made up for these creatures) comes from two Dutch words: Hemel (sky) and vos (fox). Skyfox is easier to say, but if you want to know how to say it the other way: "Hem-ell-vawss" say it with an Northern US accent, just add a bit more "cat hiss" sound to the "H" than normal. That should be close enough. :D

I had to look again, and I noticed alot of details.
You made the destinctions between Male and Female according to my reff sheet. :w00t:
You also did a fantastic job on the ears , tails, and faces (which are the hardest parts). :D

Anyways, the name for Skyfox is so awesome. It makes so much more sense now that I know what it means! Haha! =D Thank you for explaining it! I'm glad I drew them blue now.

Hahaha. Well thank you Mikey. I did work to make this especially detailed because I figured you were the kinda guy who would appriciate that (and notice if things were out of place!! Haha!). Plus, I liked the distinction between the tails for the male and female. I also did a little tuft of hair for the girl to do a little twist there.
